New pocket ARM LM3S battery device in development

You didn't miss anything. I was doing different sort of stuff last months instead of electronics.

Now I'm back in "business". Ordered few LM3S5632 chips and that forced me to create really small layout for this ARM MCU with interesting peripherals:

  • Nokia 3310 LCD
  • 3 axis I2C accelerometer
  • microSD slot
  • mini USB connector
  • battery charger circuit
  • PlayStation Portable 2 axis analog "joystick"
  • IR LED diode to rule all IR devices at home :)

 .. and.. that's it! :)
All that was squeezed to small area 59×38mm. The 2 layer boards will be maufactured by Pool Service in fab house in my country.

  2. Thanks, I have boards manufactured and soldered. Now I'm playing with firmware. I hope that I'll write follow-up post about my further work on this project.
